Bill Amend!

I recently got a small reply from Bill Amend of Foxtrot to an email I sent back in May. You may be thinking “wow Leslie… is this really news?” For most people, probably not, but for me, definitely so! I’ve been a fan of Foxtrot for over a decade, starting at about 12 years old, right around the time that Bill Watterson quit doing Calvin and Hobbes. Keep in mind as well that when I began my personal interest in comic strips, chatting with the cartoonist was virtually unheard of. So for this long-time fan, getting to talk in any way to the cartoonist is awesome. Just thought I’d share the joy!
HI! I’m in a cartooning class at my co-op, and I’m doing a report about your comic strip and you. I was wondering why your comic strip was decreased to only Sundays?
